Erstwilder x Katherine Sabbath Donut Cake Drop Earrings

Designed as part of the Erstwilder collaboration with Australia's Queen of Cakes Katherine Sabbath, and inspired by one of her real creations, these limited-run Donut Cake Drop Earrings are (almost) good enough to eat! Hand-assembled from the most delicious resins, and finished with etched and painted detailing, you'll also find this tasty treat available as a brooch, while stocks last!

DESIGN STORY

“Most adults I know still haven’t outgrown their donut fascination, and why should they?! This is one giant donut to rule them all! An eye-popping, bright pink, sprinkle-covered cake, brimming with juicy strawberry jam and luscious whipped cream.”

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of the designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in the designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Earrings hooks are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Earring posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel or silver-plated brass.
