This unique and elevated design is a part of Erstwilder’s long-awaited collaboration with Aboriginal Artist Melanie Hava. With layered resin and featuring hand-finished details, Melanie's incredible art has been taken off canvas and brought to life as wearable art.

DESIGN STORY
You'd be forgiven for thinking we're sleeping. We do a lot of that. We're just enjoying a cuddle. We do a lot of that too.
Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of Erstwilder’s designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in their designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasp is made with 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Components have changed over time and older designs may be made with other materials.
