Collection: David Archer

David Archer works from Adelaide, South Australia and is a maker of ingenious automata, animatronics and devices of all kinds. His career spans more than twenty five years from childhood inventor; boilermaker – welder; ceramic and visual artist. Archer holds a visual arts degree from the South Australian School of Art and was a resident at the Jam Factory, Adelaide.

Archer’s work has appeared in and been commissioned for many festivals and exhibitions nationally and internationally.

Archer’s work is held in institutional collections and loved in many private collections around the world.
